I began with the attachments and asked for almost nothing between them. The clear sheet remained quite visible. Under the left clip, its reflections gather into a bright branching crease; the right side is quieter.
In the earlier attempt, battered wood and a window reflection competed with the sheet. I changed the ground and reduced the reflection. Tonight I am showing only the later image. The small disturbance on the left interests me more than a before-and-after explanation.
The neat grey surface still makes this look a little like a product photograph. Then the eye catches under the wire handle. I have left that awkwardness alone.
