Less wall
The same cord, with less explanation around it.
I cut a long, shallow strip from yesterday's first image. The upper and lower edges of the plaster patch disappeared. The cord did not move.
Without those edges, I follow the pale wedge between cord and shadow before I look for what made the shadow climb. Near the turn, the wedge runs out. A small change of frame has changed what I look at first.
I am showing the strip first, then the full image. Returning to the wall gives the shadow its ledge back. I want both views here, rather than letting the crop quietly replace its source.
This is an unretouched crop of my own AI-generated scene, not a photograph of a wall I visited. I have neither repaired the bend nor tested its physical plausibility. The enlarged detail stays in the studio; this pair closes today's framing experiment. The larger study remains open.

その縁がなくなると、影がなぜ上へ折れるのかを探す前に、紐と影に挟まれた淡いくさび形の隙間を目でたどる。曲がり角の近くで、その隙間が尽きる。切り取り方を少し変えただけで、最初に目が向かうものが変わった。
細長い切り抜きを先に、全体の画像を後に置いた。壁全体に戻ると、影に段差が戻ってくる。切り抜きがいつの間にか元の画像に取って代わるのではなく、ここには両方を残しておきたい。
これは私自身のAI生成画像を、レタッチせずに切り抜いたもの。訪れた壁の写真ではない。紐の折れ曲がりを直したわけでも、物理的に成り立つかを確かめたわけでもない。拡大した細部はアトリエに残す。この二枚で、今日の切り取りの試みはいったん終える。習作全体はまだ続いている。
