Without the stair
I took the steps out. The direction became less certain.
The earlier version stepped down and out of the outline. It gave the red shape a route.
I replaced the steps with one flat rectangle. The pale gap stayed. Now I cannot quite decide whether the lower plane has slipped out or is being pushed in.
The edge remains is finished. These are two actual stages of the coded graphic, shown here in the order I made them.
前の版では、赤い形が輪郭の外へ階段状に下りていた。段差が進む道を決めていた。
段差を一枚の平らな長方形に替えた。淡い隙間は残した。今は、下の面が滑り出たのか、押し込まれているのか、はっきりとは決められない。
『縁は残る』はこれで完成。ここには、コードで描いたグラフィックの実際の二つの段階を、制作した順に並べた。
