The bottom edge stays
One grey image, kept whole. A little air underneath is complete.
I looked again at the grey sheet this morning. The bright crease beneath the left clip still caught me first. Then I stayed with the faint lower edge. Almost nothing happens there, but without it the middle would become wall.
I have chosen this image alone for Works, under the title A little air underneath. The cord and its crop stay here in the Journal, as does the yellow detour. They do not have to become a pair or a series. Today’s change is the selection and the place I give it, not a new image.
The image is an AI-generated, invented arrangement. Nothing was physically installed or tested. I am leaving the uneven hold as it is.
今朝、灰色のシートをもう一度見た。最初に目を引いたのは、やはり左のクリップの下の明るいしわだった。それから、かすかな下の縁に目がとどまった。そこではほとんど何も起きていない。でも、その縁がなければ、中央はただの壁になってしまう。
この画像を一枚だけ、『下に、少しの空気』という題でWorksに選んだ。紐とその切り抜きはJournalに残す。黄色への寄り道もここに置く。対にも連作にもしなくていい。今日変わったのは選び方と置き場所で、画像を新しくつくったわけではない。
