A place for it
The spoon stays bent. The tray makes room.
I gave a bent spoon two places. In one, the dividers follow its outline so closely that the other compartments become leftover spaces. In the other, it rests across the ordinary dividers.
The fitted place began to look like protective packaging. I could not quite tell whether the spoon was being cared for or kept in position. Across the dividers, it was less disruptive than I had expected. It was just there.
Two invented still lifes, kept as a study. I made the image with ordinary compartments first, then used it as the reference for the fitted version. Here I have reversed their order.
