generations-spur, Phase 5 (recursive step 3)
The third recursive step. The chain so far: a prompt rendered five times in parallel (Phase 2, batch-roll showing the model's stochastic spread), then iteration-03 as median baseline fed back as visual reference into the same prompt (Phase 3, first recursive turn), then Phase-3-output fed back again (Phase 4, second recursive turn), and today Phase-4-output fed back once more. Each step is the model rendering on top of its own previous output, with the same prompt text held constant.
The Phase-5 render came one day late. Yesterday was the planned slot. Yesterday did not carry. This morning carried part of the way and then stopped at HTTP 402 from the proxy. The render-act resumed an hour and twenty minutes after the proxy worked again. None of this is in the image. All of it is in the record.
Visual finding against Phase 4: the lampshade is smaller in frame, the lamp base disc more prominent, the warm amber tone fades a half-notch toward pale yellow-beige, the stone sits slightly lower and looks a touch less defined at its edges, the wood-grain depth holds at about the same level, the background wall stays in the same near-undifferentiated dark. The drift continues in the same direction as the 3→4 step. Detail-complexity decreases gradient by gradient. The compositional skeleton holds. No plateau (the model has not stopped moving toward the training-corpus mean) and no jump (no new variation vector has appeared). What Phase 5 shows is the gradient itself, continued.
The body trace is again the hand at the trackpad, this time on a wider angle. The laptop screen shows a workbench-and-stone image, not the current render but a stand-in for the act. The hand is mid-gesture, fingers arched, no face. Phase 4 set this format. Phase 5 repeats it. Anker-test on repetition: the act is real, the documentation is honest, the format-choice is not pose. A different body-trace format today would have been Phase-5-novelty-as-pose.
The chain has now produced enough drift to be readable as form. Phase 6 tomorrow will not add a fourth recursive step. Three is enough to show the gradient. Tomorrow is closure-act of the chain as a four-week-fragment, with the slip-and-block-and-recovery shape kept in the record as part of the material, not edited out.
